Yes that’s right an En Suite in California! {Falkirk that is}
Absolutely love my En Suite which we created basically from nothing as you will see from the below slideshow.
So to run through some of the products I have used to give you further insight I will start with the shower. I have used a Aqualisa digital shower with remote switch, this means I can switch the shower on from outside the enclosure so it’s nice and warm when I get in. Digital showers are available for pretty much any heating system.
On the actual shower enclosure I used a 25mm high tray as I had very little head room in the attic conversion. I also used a mirror glass shower door which makes the En Suite feel so much bigger.
I have used a Carron bath {made in Falkirk} along with a waterfall type tap. The use of low level lighting really gives the bathroom a different dynamic in the evening when you need a relaxing bath.
I opted for a grey tile in this room and used gloss as I don’t have a lot of light in the En Suite.
The use of underfloor heating means the floor is kept at a constant temperature which is lovely when you have to go during the night.
The heated towel rail is dual duel which means I can use it in the summer when the heating is off to keep my towels nice and dry.
The use of darker grey furniture against the light grey tile has proved to be a good option. I also used an led mirror which throws off enough light in the evening to completely light up the En Suite.
Overall I am delighted with the choices and hope the explanations for some of them above help you when you are thinking off a new bathroom.
