Bathroom Maintenance
It’s important to bear in mind that you need to maintain your bathroom. Many of our products have easy clean features. All of our toilets are rimless, with toilet seats that unclip at the touch of a button. This takes the pain out of cleaning. See below for further tips on taking care of your new bathroom.
- Look after your silicone & grout
Try to avoid being too abrasive with your silicone, sealants and grout. If these are damaged it can cause much bigger issues in your bathroom. Replace if showing signs of wear and tear. It’s recommended to review your silicone every year.
- Avoid bleach
Bleach is toxic and corrosive and can use damage to some bathroom surfaces. Try to avoid using it if at all possible, as other alternatives can be just as effective.
- Descale shower heads
The shower head is often overlooked. To descale, simply soak overnight in 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water.
- Tiles & Grout
Grout is porous so can become a bit discoloured over time. Regularly wiping down you shower helps the longevity of grout. These days, different colours of grout are often used so discolouring it not as obvious. When your bathroom has been tiled you will find that the grout will leave a dusty film over the tiles and much of your bathroom. The best way to get rid of this is with a dry towel. You might need to do this a couple of times as the dust will resettle.

We recommend replacing silicone on your wet wall every 12 months to preserve the longevity of the panels.
